Something is compressing this house sideways. The tiles have no give, so the floor with them bulges up.
This happened to me at my old condo. Apparently the original tiles had very little “adhesive” (or whatever you call that concrete mix to make them stick) so when one piece finally detached, it caused a chain reaction and lifted the surrounding tiles. I was in the bathroom and legit thought my living room was about to cave in the way it sounded. And this was at the 15th floor of a high rise.
