For those unaware, Ye Power Tripping Bastards (YPTB) is a heavily biased snark community that Tankies use to target moderators who remove their extremism. Threads featured in this community are often heavily brigaded and filled with trolls and vote manipulation from alt accounts and from specific users.
It’s a good idea in concept, highlighting mod abuse, but unfortunately, they very rarely discuss what rules were violated and instead use it to push Tankie narrative. You even have Davel, Lemmy.ml admin, frequenting the community.

Unfortunately I believe the second community is satirical.
Creating another one isn’t a bad idea, pluralism is good. But I think it takes a lot of care and self-awareness to manage such a space with impartiality.

Literally banned all of db0 because they called out his bad faith actions.
They were banned for brigading and vote manipulation, and refused to stop when I supplied evidence and asked them to stop manipulating threads.
The bad-faith argument also doesn’t hold much water, considering they were the first to ban me and members of this community. After that, I had no choice but to return the favour and ban them. Mind you, I haven’t banned the admins.
I am biased, but I’ve also been on the receiving end of their harassment and constant brigading, and their moderator team did nothing when presented with evidence. They even made a fake post about me and spread it everywhere. So, yeah, I am most definitely biased, having been a victim of their snark.

Yes, I’m aware of that fake post, which was created by dbzer0 and Hexbear. I’ve messaged Wesker to remove it, but he is inactive, which is why I’ve been considering making a new one.
Or, better yet, perhaps you could create a new one? You’re quite up to date with fedidrama, and you seem rather impartial, given our interactions. Perhaps it’ll be an opportunity for your idea of introducing mods with different viewpoints to maintain the community’s quality?
