    Looking forward to cargo bikes being more in demand and prices coming down. There’s no way they should cost £4-5k. Decathlon make a longtail for £2.5k which is much more reasonable

      Isn’t decathlon quality nowhere near reputable brands and don’t they have only the cheapest components in their bikes? They should be fine for infrequent use, but are not as reliable and thus could cost more in the end. \

      Edit: I gathered this info last time I was looking for a bike.

        I wouldn’t say so, they use the same parts as everyone else. My bike has full Shimano 105 for £200 less than any other manufacturer. Frame and fork are solid etc, no issues at all in 4 years.
