    Actually the big tough lefties wanted him to stay in. It was the money people and the party bosses that browbeat him until he agreed to drop out.

      From what I’ve seen there where an awful lot of people in here (many who now promptly switched to anti-Kamela mode) claiming he didn’t do this that or the other progressive wishlist item so I’m gonna take my ball and go home.

      Granted a lot of ideals didn’t happen but when you don’t have the house and the Senate is a 50/50 split (and not even reliably that) good luck getting much of that done. A fair chunk of what he has done was via exec order and plenty often challenged even then.
