Ever since Germany was united by Bismarck they’ve been on the wrong side of history. The 2 world wars, the stance on nuclear, their policy on EU international relations with Russia and now their stance on Israel.
I find it impressive how they can beat all statistical odds to always choose wrong. They’re really good at doing things and very hard working. They just suck at choosing the right thing to do, most of the time.
They did help fund the EU and they are keeping other EU countries in check from wanting to spy on every European’s private messages, like France, Sweden and apparently Belgium, and i really like that.
