Ok. Usually I’m a bit (a lot actually) critical of hak5 products, but this one has piqued my interest enough that I’ve decided to pay attention to it more. It would be very useful since it is supposed to take advantage of open, unattended, exposed eth ports which you find everywhere in a building. Did look at the payloads they have, and it looks doable that I can make it work. The best part is, it is small enough that I can add it to my everyday carry in my pockets and I can probably combine several of the payloads into one.
The URL for it is here: https://shop.hak5.org/products/shark-jack?variant=39688077639793
The cabled version is probably enough, but the standalone one with a built-in battery would work better. The exfil potential is very interesting and since you can install curl on openwrt, there would be several options to exfil to several different platforms via their api (dropbox, box, slack, etc).
Another toy that I found interesting is the plunder bug and will probably write about it some other time.
