Straight forward question, there is no Wayland output option in display output configuration in parole so how to get it working on wayland either by having Wayland output or simulating X.
IN short what package I need to fix it
I just tried installing Parole on my own KDE Plasma+Wayland system and it just works, aside from opening an external playback window, which feels a bit weird, but I’m assuming it’s normal. The only display drivers available are X, but I don’t need to select either.
If it doesn’t work for you, make sure xwayland is installed.
Few days ago a package management system I was trying removed a lot of packages from my I am facing issues from then. I do have Xwaylanld though.
Why not just switch to MPV?
I have mpv and I use it but not everyone who uses my pc (my dad and bro) likes to touch command line and keys for everything and mpv’s default gui is so barebone.
