As a younger father i can confidently say that that plan was doomed anyway, between diaper changes, feeding, orchestrating the day and various parents events there are maybe 2 hours of personal time that get eaten up by shores.
Except, child neglect, that would free up time
Can confirm. Lack so much sleep the times i finally have some free time i just stare
at my rgb lights instead because i cant muster the energy to use my arms on the keyboard/controller.
I’ve got a 5.5mo and I still haven’t figured it out…this point she’s going to learn to hold her bottle before I figure it out. The chin hold is only temporary because she likes to wiggle.
I played a buncha Vampire Survivors around that phase lol, just need one hand for the controls. Football cradle baby, hold bottle in that same hand (does require some wrist flexibility), other hand & arm free.
That hold doesn’t help with wiggles of course (and maybe you already use it) but at least you can pause VS.

That’s why you gotta learn to feed and hold the controller at the same time lmao

Yeah, I got that hold it’s how I eat but not good enough for gaming for me. Maybe I could try less actiony games but oh well.
I used to put my kiddo in a bouncy seat next to me while I gamed. Not a lot of time to game, but worked it in.
I played the entirety of GTA V with a newborn in my arms. Same for Fallout 4.
If I was awake, I was on baby duty so mom could get sleep, and I was going to be damned if that meant staring at the ceiling.
