Well this is going in my “basics of networking” presentation.
There is a bigger one, with more networking terms, but I can’t find it right now :|
If you do find it let me know, I’d love to see it! I really do have about 20 hours of training in networking I give to folks, and since it’s literally 20 hours of information, I like to put in fun stuff.
Like a picture of a facemask I added during COVID with “stay at 127.0.0.1, don’t 255.255.255.255”. Super cheesy but at least it’s a mental distraction from information overload haha
I believe it was this one link
I know a joke about UDP.
I know a joke about TCP too.
Did you get it?
I didn’t get the first half, could you send it again?
I only tell jokes about UDP. I don’t care if you get it.
Maybe i have to disagree a little bit. UDP won’t drop packets intentionally or TCP don’t prevent dropping of packets.
So UDP is like an introvert who ordered pizza and got 4 of 6 peices but kept silent and eat what he got
And TCP is like the extrovert who complained and got the next two peices
UDP cares about the target, it doesn’t care if it gets there, more like broadcast.
