That’s what the KMT believes, but the party in power (DPP / Dumb Pricks and Pigs) believes that Taiwan is its own country
Funnily enough the mainland KMT actually supports the CPC as the rightful government of all China
Not just the DPP, most of the population too, especially younger people (or I should say, they don’t see themselves as Chinese and want to uphold the status quo, as opposed to formally becoming a country)
That’s fair but I think that the use of China in the name of stuff that is parodied on the post stems from this KMT perspective
