Be it on GrapheneOS, where the default apps look ugly as hell, or on other Android distros.

There are some apps, like the SMS app or the Clock, that may have special properties (I think they updated the AOSP clock to material 4, while keeping the functionality)

Meanwhile Google ditched the AOSP apps since Android 11 or something, the result is visible on GrapheneOS.

The Google Clock uses the same codebase, but it full of Google nonsense.

Now I found some random versions on APKMirror? But they dont seem to be all updated, and the source sucks.

In their repo there is some activity but they never released APKs here.

This website seems to be purely for OS images, just like this one

Any LineageOS users here? Does it use an own app store nowadays? Any idea where the apps come from and if they are even shipped anywhere?

Already found them but that is not a nice way.

I am getting AndroidStudio Flatpak currently and will just build the APK myself. Lets see how hard that is.

Yeah as they have the same app ID I need to clone, change the app ID and build with my own Key. That is fine and I may do that for a bunch of repos.
