    Endorsing is a strong word, but it is crazy there isn’t basically any leader of instute in Europe calling for Israel to stop killing civilians. Also barely anyone speaking up against US ‘plans’ for Gaza after ceasefire. Israel does things very similar to Russia, but officials don’t call Netanyahu out when he talks about ethic cleansing. It’s sad.

      As ridiculous as the leaked group chat shit is - their assessment of the EU benefiting from US navy power was on point.

      Currently EU officials can decry the Trump admin as the literal devil, but they’re awfully quiet when the same cabinet uses US might to attack Yemen to restore “freedom of navigation” through the Red Sea. Their politics of death and destruction are only an issue when their enemies don’t align…

      Endorsing is the right word and it’s the thing that shames me most about our union. Von Der Leyen tripping over herself to slobber all over the still warm blood of the dead children. The European investment bank and research funding going to Israel, while we’re struggling over here to even have fertility hit 1 child per couple. German and Polish politicians pathetically appeasing to Netanyahu and ensuring the ICC and the rules based order’s coffin is well shut before we cast it into the fire of irrelevance.

      How could that be anything other than endorsement? It’s a pathetic display and honestly it makes me ashamed of being a EU citizen. If we can’t even get the basics right, the simple notion of not supporting genocide and ethnic cleansing, then what the hell is this union for ? What are we even doing here ? Kissing Russian ass and getting screwed, kissing American ass and getting screwed, kissing Israeli ass and getting screwed. What kind of circus is this even ? Bunch of no morals, sternly worded letter writing, ass kissing union we are. What are we enduring so much hardship for ? It’s not sad, it’s devastating and shameful and honestly lately i feel like i want to be less part of it.

      It’s just sad that there’s no meaningful alternative. East, west, we all suck big time as a species. I don’t know, maybe I’m being too harsh but I’m just frustrated at our gullible, spineless leaders.
