Title. I’d like to filter some posts from Lemmy. Can this be done, either natively, either by some extensions (for chromium, in my case), either using a different frontend…?

Thank you in advance.

Lemmy doesn’t support this natively, but many clients do. Off the top of my head:

    • Tesseract (desktop)
    • Voyager (multiplatform; I believe you need to install the app rather than using the website to use keyword filters)
    • Mlem (iOS)
    • Arctic (iOS)
    • Thunder (Android)
    • Sync (Android; I’ve heard Sync is unmaintained though so probably not worth installing if you’re not using it already)

I’ve used Boost and Summit Lemmy clients and they both allow this. Dig around in the settings for it. Super nice to have!

Coo, I’ll try it on Android. Right now I’m using Lemmy’s own app. Thanks!

Lemmy’s one is called “Jerboa”. I couldn’t find Boost or Summit on f-droid, so I resorted on using “Thunder” (FOSS).

Oh ok. I have f-droid but I got Summit on the Google play store. Still new to the FOSS world personally. But it’s fun so far!

No problem, man. I’m just accostumed to check first on f-droid for my software. I don’t have anything against proprietary soft, if it is useful for my purposes.
