Not to apologise for this driver as he did get out and move them, but it’s also interesting that its only road cones preventing a car driving off this 2nd level ramp. Yeh it should be all thats required, but you know….people.
It’s a bit surprising, yes. Having said that, I’ve taken vehicles across on Interislander many times before, and it’s very clear what way to go to get out of the site.
This was an act of determined stupidity by the driver in question.

Presumably that ramp is used in some circumstances.
It’s literally just this guy and toddlers we need to worry about, and toddlers can’t reach the accelerator.
