Unfortunately, it will end up in companies double-dipping. Once consumers accept adds, you will see more of them, and for sure the money they get from ads is not fully reflected in the price reduction.
I do. Companies do seem to be adding them everywhere. Eventually everything will showcase ads because not enough consumers were against it. Apps that are part of the OS, imo, should not have any ads, regardless of price point for the device.
Lots of people like the idea of cheaper phones for a few ads. Luckily, you can protest this trend by simply not purchasing a phone that does this.
