Mystery fly-overs in New Jersey and parts of New York may soon be put to an end by the NYPD, according to a news report.
A good chunk of the NYPD would love to ethnically cleanse NYC if they could and I really wish that was cynical hyperbole but it really isn’t the NYPD just knows they couldn’t quite get away with it yet.
I don’t know who you are more afraid of that is more prone to systematic violence against and subjugation of innocent people?
I think that’s a stretch. It’s easy to call people fascists and Nazis and cops absolutely are a huge part of that but to claim individuals are carrying ideals of ethnic cleansing is a huge leap. Meanwhile there are genuinely people in the world, a lot of them, who would do far more harm than the NYPD.
If this is a lone actor or a group terrorist group plotting, an enemy state, even if it is covert mission my own government or a friendly government is doing I might still trust the NYPD over them. I don’t think you are actually paying attention if you think that, what is far more likely is rightwing violence will hurt you here and the “foreign adversaries” who are rich and conservative who you are so afraid of will look on and say “hmm I like that, we are going to have to try that in this country!” and they will call up the very people you seem to think will protect you from those people and talk shop about how to best subjugate, oppress and erase you, me and every other unwanted person.
Your understanding of the world has things totally locked into a nationalistic framing which is useless in this moment for understanding how violence is actually likely to reach out and touch you.
