The liberals could end his free ride by getting a new leader. Justified or not people are fed up with Justin and most of Pierre’s strategy relies on that. The liberals refuse to listen to their voter base and many members of their own party. Failure to pick a new leader is inaction to prevent a conservative win.
The problem is they don’t care. They’ll be right back in power after an election or two when the public get tired of the Cons again. It’s just how the game is played.
Neither party gives a shit. They just take their turn in power for a while.
