🛩 151 drones entered Belarus in November (new record), at least 3 were shot down

According to Belaruski Gayun , at least 148 Russian suicide drones of the Shahed type and three reconnaissance drones of an unknown type entered Belarusian airspace during November. The drones entered Belarusian airspace on November 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28.

During November, at least three cases of “shahids” being shot down by the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus over the Mozyr region were recorded; this happened on November 24 and 26. There was no information about damage or casualties on the ground as a result of the drones falling.

Of the 151 UAVs in a month:

⚫️ 82 returned to Ukraine and Russia;

⚫️ 66 missing;

⚫️ 3 air defense aircraft of the RB Armed Forces were shot down.

At the moment, there is no reason to believe that flights of Russian Shahed-136/131 UAVs into Belarus will cease in the near future.

    I assume the cover story is that Russia just needs to pass through Belarusian airspace to get to Ukraine. But yeah, it seems like maybe something else is going on if 3 were shot down… unless the Belarusians incorrectly assessed they were from Ukraine? 😕

      There was an article last week about how Ukraine is spoofing GPS signals to the drones and then they turn around and go back to Russia or Belarus. Maybe that’s what happened here?

        If these are from the spoofing, I hope Ukraine already knows how to counter it in their drones. It would suck if they’re susceptible to the same attack and Russia figures out how to do it.

        That’s totally plausible! Completely forgot about that, if these have been getting launched from Belarus like other shit has been then this might be the case. Nice catch

      True, russia and Belarus has been know to have way more fratricide than most other militaries. You’re probably right, they just fucked up and shot down russian stuff thinking it was Ukrainian.
