Tales From the Tables is back with episode 44: Steel, Blood and Fire!
Angela has an unexpected meeting in the Fugue Plane. And the more seasoned D&D games among us will recognize a familiar face.
Apologies to James Ohlen, but this was too funny of a spin not to take :)
As always, you can find the whole story on Tapas or Webtoon. And please consider supporting us… it means more than I can express.
Oh hey I know that name!
One day I’ll get past the first 2% of Neverwinter Nights…
That Armor is so iconic!
Volo sure has a lot to answer for.
More! More!
I just got here and don’t know the backstory, but this looks super cool.
It’s a good read! I recommend catching the backstory on the linked pages!
Ah yes. Good ol’ Volo. Nice to see him from time to time. I should use his books more often.
Was not expecting a direct ref to Volo’s Guide. Love it.
So what I get from this is that Tyr is a bro and Volo sucks.
Thanks for sharing your work here, I especially like your interesting cast of characters a lot!
It is rare in a fictional work to see somebody truly believe in a religion but not liking (all of) it. In the D&D setting they could choose to believe in another god and then they go into that after life, of staying true to that believe, right? It’s an interesting perspective to accept a believe based metaphysical thing as it is, even if you don’t like the whole package (ideals+after life).
And rumors regarding past events need to be rumors far more often! =D
