Quit fucking waiting until the election to bitch and moan about it. Start making actual changes now and it will still take 12 years, minimum. Get involved at a more local level. Take that shit over so that you actually end up having a voice at the national level.

Mods- Why the fuck would you remove this comment? It doesn’t violate any of your rules.

What a stupid fucking take on the situation. We, the people, either stand up and take the power or we let whoever wants it have the power. One bug won’t due shit to the chicken. A million bugs will devour the chicken.

I think you are misinterpreting the comic. It shows the impossibility of changing the system from the inside, essentially calling for true systemic change instead of collaboration with it.

(at least that’s what I meant when posting it. might be that I am misinterpreting it)

This seems like a bad comparison because doesn’t the roach change the system by providing nutrients via digestion? Like if I eat vegetables my body will work better than if I eat junk food or straight up poison, which would give me the ability to make other meaningful changes rather than dealing with the health consequences. I guess I’m confused or overthinking this or something idk

Sorry are we supposed to be working on the assumption that there is some broad support for the mass revolt of the working class or something?

Protest, rally, petition, write, learn, educate, participate, vote. Doing only one is not doing enough.

Also considering I’m trans and there’s a literal fascist on the ballot who might enact policies to remove my access to HRT, or potwntially even institutionalize or imprison me and others like me, I am (and already have!) voted against him. Harris isn’t perfect, but it’s easier to make change under liberal leadership than fascist leadership.

And I’m all for grassroots change. I timed my voting, it was 11 minutes. They don’t have to be mutually exclusive, and when it’s so easy to do, why not?
