would if i had the clothes ;w;
Because it takes effort for men to keep their body in good form and the type of men I have seen that are most obsessed with masculinity are all 250 pounds plus and none of it muscle. They don’t feel as if they should have to work for anything like bodily appearance. “That’s woman stuff.”
But that’s just my deep Texas view point. I’m sure there are other factors that I see less of.
I think looking good takes effort for everyone, not just men.
Yes. But the expectation of being pleasant looking for the sake of others is handed down from birth for women. Look good. Be pretty. Be skinny. Be demure.
Men don’t face as much of that. They are often molded to think they will get exactly what they want by just being. Sure, some are obsessed with visual appeal. There’s a reason for the “God’s gift to the earth” trope for straight men.
Jesus Christ is it unfair too.
The hoops my wife has to jump through, to look a certain age professionally, that I just never even had to consider, as a man.
When she was younger, she had to look older, to be taken seriously, now that she’s older, she has to not look so old, to be taken seriously.
The biggest shock in my life though? When she went to work for a company that provided services to get international companies, she found men from Europe to be much more sexist. Well, the way she put it was, she didn’t know if they were more sexist or more comfortable being sexist.
When they visited the office, she had to wear a dress, no “pants suits” as they put it, and had to have heels.
Was routinely excluded from social events. Was always the one asked to take notes, get coffee, etc. She also said they were more overtly racist as well.
I was surprised considering I was raised online to believe that Texas is the bastion of hate and racism.
Taste
Ten years ago you could get black spandex athletic shorts for men. I loved them. I can’t find them anywhere today. The closest products today all have an integrated modesty shell.
I don’t think it’d work as well with my body type
I certainly would if I had that body type.
Not many people wanna see that on a goblin.
Dignity.
Because that kind of clothing doesn’t go well with a body that screams “40yo dad of 2” and a face of “average GURPS player”

God… I remember when I was cool enough to play GURPS. Man. Where does the time go.
FYI male bodies dont really change after childbirth regardless of how many you have.
Let me tell you something…
I can haz babies?
You just have to keep trying, maybe even multiple times a day :3
Because I would never be able to pull off the look with my body shape.
But I might be able to pull off a voluptuous tavern wench with the help some shapewear and forms.
