Que the reviews, “This game sucks!”
I moved on to jellyfin after I found out the hard way Plex servers need to authenticate for use. I’m sure by now there are ways to set up offline authentication but I already didn’t like the idea of paying monthly to stream my own content from my own machine. It just didn’t make sence to me. Jellyfin isn’t perfect, or as flashy as Plex, but it works, looks fine, and its free, not counting a much deserved donation to the devs .
Man, my Jellyfin subscription just rose in price too.
I’m confused, when did the PS5 get games?/s
On the third game myself, I can’t believe I didn’t play these sooner. I understand the hype this series generated now.
Yea, as someone who games on linux (ArchBTW), I don’t know if its really there yet for mass adoption, I was helping a younger sibling troubleshoot their dying PC and they even suggested I install Linux on it for them. With a fresh Linux Mint iso on my Ventoy USB, the voices raged at me to convert another penguin. But sadly I knew, deep down, they are not ready to deal with the issues if something goes wrong, a software has no Linux support, or if they ever want to mod their games.
I think the last Nintendo game I payed for was animal crossing new horizons. Yea, I’ll be alright with my back catalog and the occasional indie game that costs less than 20$. All I wanted was another punch-out but I played the “Big Boy Boxing” demo and it was pretty fun, so I will not be buying a switch 2 any time soon if at all.
