Prompt:
A 80’s style Hollywood movie poster, of a cowboy ninja on a pirate ship, the title “Lone Star Ninja” is written in bold letters --ar 2:3 --v 6.1
Theme
It’s movie time! For this challenge I dare you to create the cheesiest B-movie poster you can think of.
Some photo shopping is allowed if you have trouble with the title. I think by now most models should be able to generate text, but I get how frustrating it can be when it doesn’t cooperate.
As an extra rule, take your time! Some of you can be super fast (me included) and I’ve noticed that the early bird usually catches the worm. So for this challenge I’m subtracting a point for anyone who posts within 24 hours.
It should hopefully level the playing field a little bit. Consider it an experiment, whoever wins is free to get rid of this rule if it doesn’t work out.
Rules
- Follow the community’s rules above all else
- One comment and image per user
- Embed image directly in the post (no external link)
- Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged (we’re all here for fun and learning)
- Posts that are tied will both get the points
- The challenge runs for 7 days from now on
- Down votes will not be counted
Scores
At the end of the challenge each post will be scored:
Prize | Points |

OP’s favorite | +1 point |
Most original | +1 point |
Last two entries (to compensate for less time to vote) | +1 point |

A special price to Retrogade for “Tactical Reckoning, Tactical Santa”, I’d love to watch it :)
And Most Original to Cloudless for “Kung Fu vs Alien”, for taking Hong Kong movies as an inspiration.Part of me wants to fix the text, but honestly, it’s SO BAD, IT’S GOOD!
I love it, The little blurb at the bottom right really completes it :)

Is it possible to disable voting for a few days while people get their submission is? 🤔
Maybe this is a good feature to submit on the Lemmy github
the fast and the furiosa
NGL, it’s not really a b movie, and not really a movie poster… But my first attempt came out so friggin good I had to just use it as it is.
Copilot prompt
a poster for a movie called “the fast and the furiosa”. the movie is a crossover between the fast and the furious, and mad Max. it is an action movie about cars.
My backup was
a movie poster for an action movie called “the server admin”
I’d watch the shit out of that
FEMINAZIS is the title. I take these challenges on as prompt studies, i don’t want to load it to a photo editor to turn it into work.
It looks great as it is!
I included the option for photo editing because text generation can be a bit of a gamble. You got the perfect image and then the text is all screwed up. I just didn’t want it to hold people back from posting a maybe otherwise awesome image.
Attack of Megacorp
I can’t believe the text came out this well without any photoshopping!
My prompt started with: The Attack of Megacorp in the style of B flick movie poster from the 1950s
Wow! The legible text on this one… Which one did you use for your prompt?
Flux-Dev Prompt: “A 70s hand drawn B-Movie poster for movie called “Knight Cop””
Prompt for ComfyUI with Chibi as a mobile frontend: B-Movie poster for the movie “Attack of the Brain Puppies”
Was the first image it generated and I just loved the stupid expressions of the people.
Prompt (copilot): create an image for a b movie poster with the title “kung fu vs alien”. Use the style of old Hong Kong hand drawn movie posters
Sorry mine’s an A++ or S++ movie; not a B movie. I lose gg :)
prompt
(((Movie Poster))) The adventures of Gabby from Xena Warrior Princess, megaboss, supercool, over the top
