There it is. “Whoops, it was an oversight. But we’re powerless to fix it. We, the (decreasingly) most powerful diplomatic, economic, and military entity on earth”. FFS
They can fix it, they just don’t want him speaking publicly about the atrocities that are going on in that prison. He may have been executed already, for all we know.
They can absolutely fix it. They don’t want to.
