A rumor surfaced last month, suggesting that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 would be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Thankfully, though, Warhorse Studios has debunked that rumor. So no, the game will not have Denuvo.
Great news
Bless their hearts!
If KCD2 is competent on release (which I think is very likely, considering how great KCD1 was), it might be the first game in a long time that I pay full price for. As much as it is important to be vocal about devs screwing their customers, we also have to support those doing the opposite.
I agree I am a big supporter of voting with my wallet.
Anti-cheat in single player games never made sense to me. Maybe if it includes microtransactions, then i guess i could see a use case, but like, if I want to cheat at your single player game, what use would there be in stopping me?
Denuvo is DRM not anti-cheat.
